Male Involvement Program
Golden Sierra Life Skills designed a Male Involvement program under the premises of the importance, and need, for Men to be involved in the lives of their children and families.
A Father/Father figure can make the difference between success and failure in the life of a child. Boys will grow up to be their fathers, and girls will marry their fathers.
This program uses life skills education, parenting, and activities that facilitate and encourage involvement between men, their children, and the other parent.
Even if the Male is separated by divorce or incarceration and has small amounts of time or supervised visitations this Program teaches the concept of 100% of quality time. This means, no matter how much time, or where the time is spent, make it 100% of positive quality time that is focused on you and your relationship with your child.
A key part of Golden Sierra's Male Involvement Program is the Ambassador Program. The Male Ambassador Program teaches Men to take on a leadership role and, after the Ambassadors receive their training, they become peer educators and mentors. These peer educator mentors encourage and support other Men to become positive advocates and role models for their children, families, and the community.
